Or Tzedek and Beth Emet teens have been diligently working on a gun violence prevention campaign, advocating for an amendment to the Concealed Carry Act that would ban guns in houses of worship. She enjoys hiking, fitness, traveling the world, reading, and glamping. Carol has a strong understanding of park district operations through her prior experience of being a Park Board Commissioner as well as her passion for open space, lifelong fitness, the benefits of leisure, and environmental stewardship.Ĭarol owns a small management consulting practice, serves on the Small Business Advocacy Council Board, and is an active member of Willow South Lake church. She served our community in this capacity for almost ten years. Carol has been a Vernon Hills resident since 1997 and first served on the Park Board from 2004-2009, until she became the Illinois State Representative for District 59.
